The overarching color use and visual aesthetics of Zashiwarashi’s illustrations certainly bring to mind that of Katsuya Terada’s earlier works as seen in his 1999 art book Zenbu ( image below ), although he has since departed from this look and his drawings and illustrations have evolved considerably.
